The phone was invented in 1876 by the american scientist and inventor Alexander Graham Bell, professor at Boston University. First words transmitted by telephone from Alexander Bell to his assistant Thomas Watson in the next room, are:

"Mr. Watson, come here, you need me." This happens in 10 March 1876.
